Well, the entire process seems simple like when the paper is inserted in to the shredder, there is a little tooth that eats the paper and when the paper is done being chopped it stops. There is a receptacle or the bin in the paper shredder that is used to carry the shredded material or the waste. On the top of this bin there is a plastic lid that is the place from where the paper is fed into the paper shredder. There are also different types of blades inside the shredder and these blades depend on the type of the paper shredder. If the shredder is the strip cut shredder, then the blades will be rotatory knives inside it and these are used to cut the paper. However, in case the shredder is the cross-cut shredder than there will be two set of teeth inside the shredder that are used to cut the paper while rotating in the opposite direction. This will offer more smaller particles and bits. There is also a cutting head inside the shredder and when the paper touches that head, immediately the sensor activates. This sensor sends a signal to the teeth or the jaws inside the shredder. When the signal reaches the teeth, the teeth pull the paper inside and begin the process of shredding. There is also another set of sensors that are located on the bottom of the lid. These sensors get activated when the machine is resting on the bin's top. When these sensors get activated, they turn on the motor to start the operation of the teeth. In this the tow teeth works opposite in direction to each other and offer a more refine shredding. As it is already stated that, shredding is of different types and it completely depends on the person that what kind of shredding he or she require. The companies that work in the field of shredding have different types of shredding machines and upon the request of the user they select a particular machine and conduct the shredding.
Though, sometimes the company can also suggest that what kind of shredding is good with a particular document but still at the end of the day, it is you who has to decide the particular type of shredding. The companies offer quick paper shredding services upon the request of the customer or the client. There is also a limit in which the stack of papers can be entered into the paper shredder. If the stack contains more paper than the amount mentioned on the manual of the shredder than the shredder will not accept these paper. Though, in some cases the shredder may accept the bigger stack but this will slow down the process of shredding. In this case the shredding will take more time and sometimes the shredder may also get damaged. Therefore, it is not a good idea to insert more papers than the amount that is mentioned in the manual of the paper shredder. Finally, it is good to read the manual before using the paper shredder.
